Aligned Ortho is purposefully majority physician-owned and led with plans to become the leading multi-regional vertically integrated orthopedic platform
Since its original partnership with OrthoBethesda in 2018, Aligned Ortho has executed on a hub–and–spoke strategy focused on building density within a market and leveraging vertical integration to provide the continuum of musculoskeletal care and drive efficiency
- Invested over $1 million in annual corporate infrastructure spend with several key additions to executive team and system upgrades
- Acquired an orthopedic surgery center that is jointly owned by our physician partners
- Hired four new orthopedists to the platform
- Added a Virginia therapy office with six newly hired physical therapists and plans to open a northern VA clinic in the fall of 2022

- Kevin is the CDO of Aligned Ortho, leading the company’s acquisition sourcing, execution, and integration efforts
- Kevin has over 15 years of healthcare and investment banking experience
- Previously lead M&A and JV efforts for CRH Anesthesia and EyeCare Service Partners
- Earlier in his career Kevin worked at Cain Brothers and Houlihan Lokey in New York

- Candice is the Vice President of Finance overseeing the finance, accounting and payroll activities of the platform
- A CPA and Chartered Accountant, Candice has over 15 years of experience across various industries including healthcare, trade finance and construction
- Prior to joining Aligned Ortho, Candice was part of the executive team at one of the largest specialist eyecare networks in the DMV region

Brandon Yandle
Vice President of Operations
- Brandon is the VP of Operations for Aligned Orthopedic Partners, overseeing the operations of practices in all markets, physical therapy, urgent care, surgery centers, and new business endeavors.
- Brandon has over 15 years of healthcare experience, spending the last 10 years in a variety of practice management executive leadership positions including client relations, strategic planning, business integration, quality, and lean process improvement.
- Prior to joining Aligned Orthopedic Partners, Brandon served as Director of Corporate Integration & Operational Excellence for North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), where he oversaw all aspects of operations and projects within the organization by improving business processes and culture.

Chief People Officer
- Allison is the Chief People Officer, overseeing all aspects of the human resource function and driving process and alignment with Aligned Orthopedic Partners’ mission.
- Allison has over 30 years of experience in human resources, spending the last 13 in healthcare, managing the strategy and processes related to building, retaining, and motivating an exceptional team of healthcare professionals.
- Prior to joining Aligned Orthopedic Partners, Allison served as the Human Resources Director for CalvertHealth Medical Center, where she ensured HR legal compliance, transformed operations and initiatives, while achieving strategic and structural alignment of programs, processes and services across the health system.

- As a practicing orthopedic surgeon at OrthoBethesda, Dr. Durbhakula completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Albany Medical Center in New York and fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital, in affiliation with Harvard University

- J. Stuart Melvin, MD, is a board- certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement with specific training in anterior approach total hip replacement, custom partial and total knee replacement as well as revision hip and knee replacement.
